The arrival of COVID-19 vaccines has brought a strong dose of hope for long-term care stakeholders, but there is still a wave of questions, changes and new challenges to contend with. A McKnight’s Long-Term Care News webinar starting at 1 p.m. ET on Feb. 25 will explore many of the key issues facing providers “post-vaccine.” One continuing education credit will be available.

This webinar will address questions such as when dining, activities and therapy can resume to improve quality of life, as well as when testing and PPE protocols may change, plus much more. The featured speaker will be Phil Fogg Jr., CEO of Consonus Healthcare and Marquis Companies.

Attendees will learn how to identify post round-3 vaccination solutions, including vaccine ordering and fulfillment and reporting requirements, and how to anticipate questions residents, families and staff will have about a post-vaccine world. They also will be able to discuss strategies to reduce or eliminate resident isolation and project possible timelines for the return to group dining, activities, therapy, in-person visits, and decreased testing, quarantining and PPE.

The webinar, titled “What does the future hold for LTC post-vaccine?” also will outline COVID-19 guidance, regulatory requirements and mandates that will influence the road to recovery. The session will be moderated by McKnight’s Executive Editor James M. Berklan and is sponsored by Consonus Healthcare.
