Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a common disease in older individuals, but it needs vigilant diagnosis and care. The second of two McKnight’s webinars on the condition — “COPD Webinar Series Part 2: Management of COPD Exacerbations in Older Persons” — will take place at 1 p.m. ET on Tuesday, May 21.
Speaker Todd King, director of clinical services for Omnicare, a CVS Company, will walk attendees through the risk factors associated with COPD and review treatment options available.
By the end of the session, attendees should be able to define COPD exacerbation; recognize the signs and symptoms and identify appropriate treatment.
