Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a common disease in older individuals, but it needs vigilant diagnosis and care. The first of two McKnight’s webinars on the condition — “Management of COPD in Older Persons” — will take place at 1 p.m. ET April 9.
Speaker Todd King, director of clinical services for Omnicare, a CVS Company, will walk attendees through the risk factors associated with COPD and review treatment options available.
By the end of the session, attendees should be able to define COPD and its risk factors; identify non-pharmacological treatment options for COPD; and list treatment options.
