COVID-19 continues to challenge long-term care operators in unforeseen ways. To help provide useful and actionable information to readers, McKnight’s is offering its second Online Forum on the crisis on May 13.

McKnight’s Online Forum: COVID 19 Update II will feature three FREE sessions on key subjects. Participants can receive continuing education credits for all three sessions.

The day will begin with the topic of infection control at 10:30 a.m. ET. Michelle Karl, sales engineer at the ABILITY Network, will help providers prepare and manage outbreaks and stay compliant.

Next, David Schofman, co-founder of Coro Health, will talk about resident engagement. During this noon ET session, attendees will learn how to use entertainment technology to increase connectedness in the midst of social isolation, understand how to use music therapeutically to influence mood, and other related topics.

Finally, Debbie Pias, RN, BSN, senior clinical consultant for Cardinal Health, will speak about leadership at the last session of the day. She will provide an overview of the COVID-19 landscape and discuss the various cross-contamination and infection control stumbling blocks and how to overcome them.
