2020 Gold Award winner Rocky Knoll Healthcare Center of Plymouth, WI, featured a special wheelchair innovation. A wide array of technologies were recognized last year by providers in the U.S. and Canada.

Organizers are calling on all long-term care, senior living and home care operators to head to the McKnight’s Tech Awards + Summit website to fill in an entry form to gain recognition for their programs delivering excellent care. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday (May 25).

The competition recognizes providers for processes and innovations that improve care, highlighting any technology that is used to activate them. Both high and low, and older and newer technologies are eligible in this program. There is no entry fee.

Examples of past winners can be found by scrolling to the 2020 label here;  this is this year’s registration page.

The entry form asks for descriptions of the entry, including its origination and any metrics that help illustrate its positive effects.

Gold, Silver and Bronze awards will be given in four categories in each of three divisions: Skilled Nursing, Senior Care, and Home Care. An independent, national panel of key stakeholders will serve as award judges.

Winners will receive extensive coverage in McKnight’s publications and during an online Tech Summit held Aug. 25 and 26.
