Autumn is coming, which means it’s almost time for the McKnight’s Long-Term Care News Fall Online Expo!
The annual event will take place on Sept. 17 and feature three educational webinars, from which participants can receive three continuing education credits. There also will be virtual booths, at which attendees can find out about the latest products and industry trends. And, like a live event, attendees can interact with fellow attendees and vendors.
The webinars will kick off at 11 a.m. ET with “Lessons From the Front Lines of COVID-19.” Cassie Diner, RN, BSN, clinical product manager for MatrixCare, will speak at this technology-focused session. Next up, at 1 p.m. ET, Kristin Baird, RN, BSN, president of the Baird Group, will talk to the audience about “Engage and Retain: Five Steps for Decreasing Turnover in a COVID-19 World.”
Finally, at 2:30 p.m. ET, two members of HUB International Healthcare Practice will speak to “Mental Health in Senior Care: The Impact of COVID-19 on Your Residents and Staff.” Those speakers are Gigi Acevedo-Parker, clinical risk leader, and Wendy King, director of health and performance, South Region.
