Another senior care provider is adding telemedicine to its repertoire, as it looks to strengthen ties with local hospitals.
A New Jersey provider is testing out telemedicine services in its skilled-nursing facilities, in the hopes that it might cut back on unnecessary ER visits.
TripleCare, a provider of telemedicine-based services, said it has expanded its relationship with Saber Healthcare Group, which owns and operates 105 skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities.
TripleCare announced that four Covenant Health facilities throughout New England are using its telemedicine services.
