James M. Berklan

Welcome to the new McKnight’s. You’ve told us you find McKnight’s to be informative, trustworthy and essential. With our redesign, we’re building on all three of those distinguished traits.

So consider it: Informative. Trustworthy. Essential. All uppercased.

Our new look keeps the things you’ve always wanted and liked from McKnight’s — breaking news, reliable industry information and analysis and fresh perspectives — and adds more. For 42 years we’ve been the most trusted and influential voice in long-term care and that will continue. We’re earned well over 200 editorial and publishing awards in recent years, and you will see those numbers continue to climb upward, too.

We’ve modernized our logo and refreshed our website. You’ll also see redesigned print magazine pages, starting in our November issue. It’s all with the same goal in mind: To bring you great user experiences and even more of the best information and insights about the increasingly important world of long-term care.

The new mcknights.com is a freshened version of its award-winning self. Even as the market leader, we do not believe in resting on our laurels. You’ll continue to see the best of everything the brand has to offer, with better navigation and more entry points.

It also better integrates our three websites: the flagship brand, McKnight’s Long-Term Care News (at mcknights.com), McKnight’s Senior Living (mcknightsseniorliving.com) and the newest addition to the family, McKnight’s Home Care (mcknightshomecare.com). You’ll get seamless access to content from all three, including the latest news feeds from our daily e-newsletters.

Whether you want to find out more about the people, policies and trends shaping the industry, enter our awards programs or sign up for our in-person or virtual events, the new site will facilitate your journey in a user-friendly fashion.

What awaits you is a next-level experience with a visually engaging content mix that’s tailored to you.

And by you. Some things won’t change, and that includes your ability to submit for posting a guest blog any time, on virtually any LTC-pertinent topic. If you don’t send something in, we can’t run it. It’s as simple as that. If you have the urge, get writing. Get published. (Guidelines can be found near the bottom here.)

As always, mcknights.com is an evolving vehicle. Please take a close look and let us know what you think.

We may have altered our look a little, but our commitment to helping you succeed in your job hasn’t changed one bit.

Remember: It’s important to us … because it’s important to you.
