LeadingAge’s Center for Aging Services Technologies updated its telehealth selection portfolio, featuring two new case studies.

One explores how a center used early interventions through the CareConnection Vitals Integration to their electronic health records system. The new protocol helped decrease readmission rates by nearly 16%.

The portfolio also includes a more robust Product Selection Matrix and Online Selection Tool. These allow providers to compare 19 different products. A whitepaper discusses the issues in telehealth, and an interactive guide provides more information about the selection process.

“Telehealth is one of the fastest evolving healthcare technologies that has the potential to greatly improve organizations’ efficiency and quality of care,” said Majd Alwan, Ph.D., LeadingAge’s senior vice president for technology and executive director of CAST.
