The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living has named Lyn Bentley the Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs. She was previously the Senior Director of Regulatory Services at AHCA, and has worked at the association for 15 years.

She will oversee operations and policy direction of AHCA’s Department of Quality and Regulatory Affairs in her new role. 

She joined AHCA/NCAl as senior director of assisted living policy in 2001, and held the position for four years. Before that she was the manager of government affairs at Marriott Senior Living services. She also has been a legislative analyst for the Florida Senate. 

Bentley completed her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Social Work Degree from Florida State University – Tallahassee. She also finished a Certificate in Gerontology from Florida State University – Tallahassee.
