Top U.S. health policy experts will dissect changes in quality of care, service delivery and financing for long-term care for the last 25 years — and for the next 25 years — in a top meeting of minds Wednesday in Washington. Individuals may attend “The Past and Future of Long-Term Care: 1989 to 2039” in person at the National Press Club Ballroom, or via a webcast.

Panelists will be Joshua Wiener, Ph.D., Distinguished Fellow and Program Director, Aging, Disability and Long-Term Care, at RTI International; Charlene Harrington, Ph.D., RN, Professor Emeritus, University of California at San Francisco; Pamela Doty, Ph.D., Senior Policy Analyst, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services; and Cheryl Phillips, MD, AGSF, Senior Vice President, Advocacy and Public Policy for provider association LeadingAge.
