The nation’s leading healthcare I.T. summit has broadened its focus under the new leadership of LeadingAge’s Center for Aging Services Technologies and is now taking registrations. The event runs June 24-26 at the Washington Hilton Hotel in the nation’s capital.

The conference is expanding its audience beyond LTPAC providers to welcome other important stakeholders, such as acute-care providers, payers, and technology vendors serving older adults and individuals with chronic conditions, organizers said.

“For years, acute-care providers, long-term and post-acute care providers, and payers have operated predominantly as silos,” said Majd Alwan, CAST’s executive director. “LeadingAge and CAST see a huge opportunity for collaboration and partnership between these siloed groups.”

Highlights of the conference include sessions with:

        •  Kate Goodrich, M.D., MHS, Director of the Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, “Payment Reforms in an Era of Change”

  • David Gruber, Managing Director, Director of Research, Alvarez & Marsal Healthcare Industry Group, LLC “Provider Survival Guide!”
