In addition to the winners’ top prize, there will be two $2,000 runners-up prizes and a $1,000 “People’s Choice” award.

Event judges are Alice Bonner, Ph.D., RN, Massachusetts Secretary for Elder Affairs; Joseph Coughlin, Ph.D., director of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology AgeLab; Len Fishman, director of the Gerontology Institute at UMass-Boston’s McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies; Stephen Johnson, managing director in the senior living practice at Ziegler; Jack York, president and cofounder of It’s Never2Late; and Majd Alwan, Ph.D., executive director of the LeadingAge Center for Aging Services Technologies.
