'Wristwatch' monitor lets providers keep an eye on residents
MIMI, powered by AFrame Digital, includes a wristwatch monitor that works with wireless networks to record and transmit the user's heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygenation, weight, glucose, location and activity patterns. The system also maintains a silent vigil to detect impacts due to a fall, changes in room temperature, and other safety factors. Multiple individuals may simultaneously be monitored in the same facility, according to the firm.
