Go beyond the basics of the Affordable Care Act’s employer mandate and hear at a July 30 McKnight’s webcast from a national expert on healthcare reform and policy to understand how it will impact long-term care providers. This webcast will give special views of the ACA and teach what tools and processes are still needed today to comply with the extended deadline. Dr. Aaron Carroll, MD, MS, Director of the Center for Health Policy and Professionalism Research, and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine, will be the lead presenter. The event will begin at 1 p.m. Eastern Time and offer no-cost continuing education credit.

Carroll and co-presenter Elaine Howell, a long-term care consultant with Kronos for Healthcare, will help attendees gain a greater understanding of the complexity of the healthcare reform challenge; recognize the various tradeoffs on your organization’s full-time/part-time mix philosophy; learn what processes and tools are needed today to “manage forward” and monitor your part-time and full-time workforces.

McKnight’s Senior Editor Elizabeth Newman will moderate the hour-long event, which is sponsored by Kronos. For more information or to register, click here.
