NADONA conference kicks off Sunday

The National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration in Long Term Care will open its 29th annual conference Sunday in Austin, TX.

Directors of nursing at long-term care facilities will have the opportunity to learn important updates and trends in the industry through a wide range of events on the conference schedule.

The opening session, "Getting to the Core: Vital Leadership Skills to Nurse Yourself Back to Health," will be delivered by Stratengy founder and CEO Heather Clarke-Peckerman, MA, CEC, ML-EL. Several other nursing and healthcare professionals will also lead sessions, roundtable discussions and workshops throughout the six-day event. Infection prevention, care quality measurements and risk management are among the topics.
