Dementia, falls prevention and staffing will be the topics of three separate webinars during the McKnight’s Senior Living Expo 2017 on Tuesday.

Attendees at the free online event can earn up to three continuing education credits from the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards for attending live.

Things kick off at 11 a.m. ET, with a session focused on recognizing the disease progression delivering person-centered care to individuals with dementia.

The 1 p.m. ET session is titled “The route to reduced falls, pain and polypharmacy in senior living,” and will discuss why sleep is the “fifth vital sign” for older adults and what caregivers can do to improve sleep among residents.

The 2:30 p.m. ET session will focus on best practices for hiring and retaining employees.

The expo also will include a virtual trade show where attendees will be able to network live with colleagues and vendors, visit virtual booths and learn about the latest products, services and industry trends.

The event will open at 10:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday (June 20). For more information and to register, visit this page
