The nation’s top organization for long-term care nurse managers will hold its annual meeting Saturday through Wednesday in Atlanta. Upcoming changes to the Minimum Data Set, as well as major management and treatment issues will be major topics among the dozens of educational sessions offered.

Keynote speakers will be Greg Risberg (“How to stay energized in a changing world”) on Sunday, Judith Briles (“Stabotage! Dealing with pitbulls, skunks, snakes, scorpions and slugs in the workplace”) on Monday and John Newton (“Take care, take charge, take off”) on Tuesday. The annual meeting of the National Association of Directors of Nursing / Long Term Care also will include dozens of vendor exhibitor booths.
