Long-term care administrators pursuing 'Leadership Excellence' at annual meeting
Long-term care administrators will be meeting from next Friday through May 3 in New Orleans to hone their skills and delve into the hot issues confronting the profession. The 45th annual convocation and exposition of the American College of Health Care Administrators will take place at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.
Keynote speakers at the convention will include Dave Horsager early Saturday afternoon. A business strategist and professor of organizational leadership at Bethel University, he is the author of The Trust Edge, a book that shows leaders how to implement the eight pillars of trust. Speaking at the Monday afternoon plenary session will be Jeanne Sexson, founder of JE Sexson Enterprises, with “Are you prepared for the results you can create?”
Dozens of educational sessions will be available throughout the meeting, many with continuing education credit availability. The group's annual business meeting takes place Saturday afternoon, while exhibit hall hours will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 12:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. Sunday. Click here for more on the event.
