State execs, providers and other top long-term care leaders will visit their members of Congress during the American Health Care Association’s Congressional “fly-in” event Monday and Tuesday. The annual lobbying event takes place each spring, and this edition promises to bring many highly charged topics to the fore.

Monday afternoon will include a Congressional issues briefing, featuring top AHCA/NCAL officers and Rep. John Hoeven (R-ND). That will be followed by the annual Joe Warner Patient Advocacy Awards, with Dirk Anjiewerden and Greg Elliot being honored.

Ranking Minority Member on the House Ways & Means Committee Rep. Richard Neal (D-MA) will address the gathering Tuesday morning, followed by Fox News Channel’s chief political anchor Bret Baier.

All Congressional Briefing sessions will take place at the Hyatt Regency Washington. For more information on the event, click here.
