Centrex Rehab and Volunteers of America announced they will take ownership of  Rochester, MN-based Stanley Jones and Associates’ therapy services September 1.

Stanley Jones and Associates offers home care, outpatient therapy and a pediatric outpatient clinic, and its owners are close to retirement. VOA bought the home care division while Centrex Rehab bought the therapy services and the clinic. Centrex will provide therapists who subcontract with Volunteers of America to serve clients in home care.

Volunteers of America provides independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing services to the community at The Homestead in Rochester.

“Centrex holds many of the same values and commitment that SJA has become known for: excellent care, great outcomes and a sincere belief that clients and staff come before the bottom line,” said SJA Administrator Pat Mrdjenovich-Hanks. “Because Centrex Rehab offers competitive benefits and salary and expert in-house training for therapists, there is an increased opportunity for advancement and personal growth that a small company cannot offer.”

Most of SJA’s employees are expected to be invited to join Centrex, and services to SJA clients will continue without interruption, the companies said.
