Vocollect and American HealthTech usher in new kind of partnership

Historically, vendor partnerships have tended to take the form of one company absorbing another. But last week's announcement between Vocollect Healthcare Systems Inc. and American HealthTech Inc. offers a new wrinkle. Essentially, each partner is bringing a unique strength to the deal that makes both sides prosper. This alliance will link Vocollect's interactive point-of-care delivery system into American HealthTech's clinical software and electronic medical record. Going forward, we can expect to see more of these kinds of win-win partnerships in this sector.
