Long-term care providers have until the stroke of midnight tonight to submit their entries to the McKnight's Excellence in Technology Awards.

Winners of the annual awards will gain well-deserved recognition and join an impressive roster of past recipients. Providers have snagged awards for everything from sophisticated data analytics to introducing an animatronic dog to residents.

Skilled nursing, assisted living and continuing care retirement communities are eligible to enter. Independent judges choose Gold, Silver and Bronze winners in each of five categories: Quality through Technology; Dignity through Technology; the High Tech/High Touch Award; the Innovator of the Year Award; and the Transitions Award.

All winners will be featured in McKnight's Long-Term Care News later this year.
