Emissary Technologies changes name to CareRight Technologies

Software manufacturer Emissary Technologies, LLC has changed its name to CareRight Technologies, the company announced. The new name better reflects the firm's corporate culture, said Chief Technology Officer Mona Gamboa. It also reinforces the company's "focus and attention on bringing innovative tools to the growing healthcare technology information arena," she added.
 

Vigilan acquired by RealPage

Software manufacturer Vigilan was recently acquired by RealPage Inc. for $5 million, both companies announced. Vigilan's software suite helps operators manage care, labor and billing. "We are excited to join the RealPage team and expect the combined operation to be the leading provider of software-as-a-service solutions that enable senior living property owners to manage every aspect of the senior living resident life cycle," said Doug Fullaway, Vigilan's CEO.
