Better Rest Solutions (BRS) announced the debut of its second generation Continuous Positive Airway Pressure cleaning and sanitizing machine, called the SoClean® 2, last week.
The sanitizing machine uses oxygen to thoroughly sanitize the entire CPAP system by eliminating mold, bacteria and viruses. The SoClean 2 destroys 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, and mold and is automated.
New features include a built-in clock display, enhanced automation, indicator lights through the cycle, left or right hose insertion option, and an easy-filter cartridge system.
CPAP masks can be a source of microbial contamination, physicians say, such as staph aureus.
