Sigma Theta Tau International Foundation for Nursing announced it is accepting proposals for the $20,000 Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI)/American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Evidence-Based Practice Implementation Grant Program, which is the largest single grant available through the foundation.

The program receives support from Hill-Rom, and was introduced in 2014. The goal is to give funding opportunities to clinical nurses to evaluate best practices.

“Hill-Rom is proud to support the work of nurses to create environments in which evidence drives practice and continuous quality improvement is sought.  Working with ANCC and STTI to create grants that enable evidence based practice to enhance outcomes for patients is in direct alignment with our mission at Hill-Rom,” said Hill-Rom Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer Melissa Fitzpatrick RN, MSN, FAAN.

The project lead must have at least a master’s degree in nursing and be a member of either the American Nurses Association or STTI. The project has to be completed within 24 months of funding, and the results have to be shared. Other requirements can be seen here. Applications are due June 1.
