Updates for unit dose labeling software now available
Medi-Dose announced a free updated 4013 for MILT 4, the company said last week.
New features include “Tall Man Lettering,” such as DOPamine instead of DOPAMINE. It
Also has CDC NIOSH List Matching and Auto-Lot. The latter lets users generate an incremental or random lot number when they print a label.
“These new features, and other recent improvements like changing controlled symbol numbering from traditional Roman numerals to standard numbers (e.g. using 4 instead of IV) as recommended by ISMP, demonstrate the commitment we share with you to help protect the safety of your patients and practitioners,” said Robert Braverman, president of Medi-Dose.
