Tutera Senior Living & Health Care in Kansas City broke ground last month on a $21 million Northland Rehabilitation & Health Care Center on 6.2 acres.

The project is expected to be completed in summer 2018 and will offer skilled nursing rehabilitation. Extended-stay services for prolonged recovery will be offered.

Plans include 60 private suites, a rehabilitation gym, a mind-body wellness center and spa, and restaurant dining.

“We are proud to break ground on this state-of-the-art, post-acute rehabilitation facility that has been carefully designed to provide seniors with the most advanced therapy and protocols available to meet their individualized needs to help them achieve recovery and return home quickly,” said Randy Bloom, Ph.D., president and chief operating officer of Tutera Senior Living & Health Care.
