Telehealth company announces partnerships
ViiMed®, a telehealth software provider, has announced a partnership with Redox to integrate its platform with EHR vendors that include Cerner, McKesson, GE Healthcare, Meditech and CPSI.
The goal includes organizations deploying ViiMed's technology while maximizing their existing infrastructure. ViiMed allows providers to engage with patients via telehealth applications and to monitor patient care quality and safety.
“We're committed to closing interoperability gaps in the healthcare industry,” said Niko Skievaski, co-founder and president of Redox. “ViiMed offers a robust digital healthcare platform, and we're excited to help its customers take full advantage of its capabilities. Using our cloud-based infrastructure, hospitals, health systems and physician practices can access and update EHR records for a more comprehensive view of their patients.”
Through Redox's application programming interface, healthcare organizations can integrate their existing systems with ViiMed, the company said.
“Redox has proven itself as the leader in EHR integrations,” said Phil Newman, founder and CEO of ViiMed. “Whereas other organizations struggle to connect with large-scale EHRs, Redox brings a wealth of experience and knowledge around the process and works within these complex environments every day.”
