Study finds Medicine-On-Time dramatically cuts nursing home admissions

Researchers from the University of South Carolina School of Public Health found that using the Medicine-On-Time medication delivery system reduced the likelihood of nursing home admission by 66%. The system's pharmacy-based calendar card dispensing system and service coordination were largely credited for the results. Full findings appear in the American Journal of Geriatric Pharmacotherapy.
