Greystone announced last week it had provided a $78.4 million HUD-insured loan to refinance Boro Park Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation, a skilled nursing facility in Brooklyn, NY.

The deal is one of the largest HUD loans for a SNF, the company said. Centers Health Care had purchased the facility five years ago, and principles have invested more than $20 million in renovations.

Boro Park Center offers clinical services that include amputee recovery and training, oxygen management, a variety of therapies and stroke rehabilitation. Additionally, there are two floors dedicated to Asian culture, with staff fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and Taishanese.

The facility also serves Orthodox Jewish residents, providing a Shabbat room and Glatt Kosher cuisine.
