MediPurpose has debuted a new MediPlus™ Silicone Comfort Foam dressings.
The foam dressings have a bordered silicone adhesive, and are available in four commonly used sizes: 3×3 inches, 4×4 inches, 6×6 inches, and 7.2 x 7.2 inches.
“Since silicone is chemically inert, reactions to this material are rare,” MediPurpose marketing manager Valerie C. Johnson said. “Results of studies performed have shown that they do not cause skin reactions or systemic toxicity.”
