The Green House® Project has received a two-year, $650,000 grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

The grant will help Green House Project leaders at the nonprofit Center for Innovation, which recently acquired the provider's trademark and intellectual property. A national initiative is focused on expanding the Green House model with a focus on those with dementia, short-term rehab and other areas.

The Center for Innovation was founded by three faculty members at The Erickson School, University of Maryland, Baltimore County. There are 231 Green House communities in the country.
