CareSkore has released its Population Health Management as a ServiceTM (PHMaaSTM), providing access to its analytics engine to third-party applications through an API.

“We have too many proprietary application interfaces in healthcare.  PHMaaS allows us to provide insights within existing applications that are already part of user workflows,” said Jaspinder Grewal, CEO of CareSkore.

CareSkore’s PHMaaS allows healthcare IT systems to access its analytics engine, called Zeus. For example, electronic health records or clinical information networks can provide Zeus with real-time claims data. Zeus, in turn, can give intelligence specific to each patient for categories such as demographics and socioeconomic characteristics. The patient-specific predictive analytics can let providers make different decisions.

CareSkore said it expected to be in hundreds of locations by the end of 2017.
