Onset has debuted the HOBO® kWh Monitoring Kit, a portable system for measuring and recording energy consumption in buildings.
The new kit has a matchbox-sized HOBO State data logger with Continental Control System’s revenue-grade kWh and current sensors. It is meant to allow auditors and engineers a cost-effective way to log building electric use, rather than use a meter.
It has the flexibility to log up to 500,000 single or three-phase measurements running 240 to 480 volts, LCD display to enable easy viewing of latest kWh readings and HOBOware Pro software (priced separately) for easy logger set-up and scaling of kWh measurement data.
The software runs on Windows or Macs. It also can be used to put data files into a text format.
