New York’s FInger Lakes Center for Living, which is owned by Auburn Community Hospital, may be relocated to the former site of a county nursing home, according to local reports.

The hospital wants to restructure is main campus and create a 10-bed alcohol and drug rehabilitation center. Relocating to the former Cayuga County Nursing Home in Sennett, NY, could let the hospital double its number of private rooms.

Cayuga County has been vacant since a merger between the county’s facility and Mercy Health & Rehabilitation Center. Mercy is now called The Commons on St. Anthony.
