The LaSalle Group announced the grand opening of Autumn Leaves of Stone Oak, its first memory care community in the San Antonio area. The community will host its official grand opening July 24.

The 30,000-square-foot, $10.7 million community will provide specialized care to about 50 residents with dementia, Alzheimer’s and memory impairment. Autumn Leaves of Stone Oak incorporates design and technology based on the latest Alzheimer’s research to create a safe and engaging environment. Various recreational, educational and medical services are offered to residents, as well as free programs for the public.

The LaSalle Group also announced a groundbreaking ceremony on a new $11.3 million memory care community in Gurnee, IL. The Autumn Leaves of Gurnee groundbreaking will be July 30. The community will feature on-site memory care nurses and a full service beauty and barber. It is expected to open in the second quarter of 2015, and is located near Gurnee Mills Mall and Six Flags Great America.
