Health Mart, an independent pharmacy franchise, announced new innovations and updates to its products at McKesson ideaShare 2017. The interactive forum helps independent pharmacists discover new solutions and technologies for their businesses. The event took place July 12 through 16.

myHealthMart is an online portal to help users manage their affairs. This solution has been updated with an iOS app. Users can now customize performance metrics, view performance metrics, and set goals. They can also manage inbound patient online refills and send notifications to patients. Other updates to myHealthMart include a DIR estimator. This helps users identify, track and plan when direct and indirect remuneration fee amounts are withheld.

Other updates to the solution include the Results Optimizer, which will help find resources for pharmacies to make changes in their business and develop a growth plan, and the Multi-Store Performance Scorecard, which will provide a multi-store view to show benchmarks, totals and averages. Another update will review customized promotions and discounts for specific pharmacies to optimize purchasing.

Currently, 4,000 registered stores and more than 7,000 individuals use myHealthMart.

The company also announced several other updates last week. One is the addition of customizable Collaborative Practice Agreement templates through the company’s CPA program, created in order to cover immunizations. Another is the addition of new drug data to the Physician Outreach Program.

HealthMart also is offering new digital marketing solutions, including the Digital Listing and Reputation Management Program, which will help users improve their online presence.
