Faucet handle designed to reduce burns

A Colorado inventor is holding a crowd-funding campaign to bring a new burn prevention tool to market.

Larry and Renee Holmes, founders of SafeHolmes, created the Faucet Handle Safety Restraint Handle to prevent seniors and children from burning their hands. The product attaches to the sink in less than a minute and offers peace of mind for home-based caregivers and those in assisted living, the company says.

SafeHolmes is engaged in a $50,000 crowdfunding campaign to cover manufacturing fees, aluminum or steal mold fees, shipping fees, ink and paper for product instructions, utility patent and attorney fees. The company is based in Fort Collins, CO.
