Emergency response training system released

The Golding Group has publicly released the VORTTX Training and Testing for long-term healthcare facilities.

The VORTTX system provides emergency response scenarios for facility staff training. It provides different situations and outcome variables for an evolving experience, the company said. This can include different time-of-day and real-world complications during testing.

Federal regulations state that facilities must “train all employees in emergency procedures when they begin to work in the facility, periodically review the procedures with existing staff, and carry out unannounced staff drills using those procedures,” the company noted.

VORTTX Training and Testing was developed by Tadd Weese, Director of Facilities Management at Saint Simeon's Episcopal Home in Tulsa, OK, and Kyle Golding, CEO of The Golding Group in Oklahoma City, OK.
