Evans Incorporated has debuted its CAARMA™ Emergency Health Preparedness Solutions Suite.

The goal is to help long-term care providers meet the Nov. 15 deadline set by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for emergency preparedness requirements.

The suite helps providers figure out strategic goals related to public health emergencies, and their potential impact on nursing home residents. This includes emergency preparedness plans, developing a communications plan and maintaining testing programs.

“Given the risk of natural disasters, acts of terrorism and disease outbreaks, effective emergency preparedness is needed across all healthcare provider types,” said Denise Braun, Evans’ Senior Manager for Healthcare Solutions.

“That’s why we are introducing a suite of emergency preparedness planning solutions to assist providers who are increasingly challenged to ensure the wellbeing of vulnerable populations during a disruptive event, whether patients are in long-term care, acute care or community-based facilities.”
