COMS Interactive® LLC has reached an agreement to integrate the INTERACT® Program into Daylight IQ® software.

The agreement with Florida Atlantic University means Daylight IQ will now pre-populate select INTERACT forms based on existing nursing documentation.

“The INTERACT program must be executed by a trained project champion who will assist facility staff in using the tools on a daily basis. The tools have been designed to be used in everyday practice and help staff improve care, but not increase unnecessary paperwork,” said Joseph G. Ouslander, M.D., creator of the INTERACT program and FAU professor at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine.

A point-of-care clinical decision support tool, Daylight IQ is designed to improve clinical outcomes.

“INTERACT’s commitment to improving clinical care is perfectly aligned with COMS’ focus on disease care management,” noted Frederick T. Croft, executive chairman of COMS Interactive.
