Berkadia originates $16 million in funding for two properties

Berkadia Commercial Mortgage recently originated a total of $16.4 million for seniors housing properties in Ohio and Nebraska. On March 7, Berkadia closed a total of $12.4 million in refinancing through Fannie Mae for The Woodlands of Hamilton, a 77-unit assisted living and Alzheimer's care facility in Hamilton, OH. Senior Vice President Lisa Lautner, a member of Berkadia's senior housing group, worked with borrower Capital Senior Living Corporation to originate the 10-year, fixed-rate loan. Lautner also worked with the borrower to originate $4 million in financing for Marquis Place of Elkhorn, a 44-unit assisted-living facility in Elkhorn, NE.
