OnShift recognizes top schedulers


OnShift announced five winners of its first annual Scheduler of the Year Awards. The recipients exemplify “commitment, flexibility, and focus in leading the employee scheduling efforts in long-term care and senior living organizations,” according to the firm. This year's winners are: Connie Carlson, The Assisi Health Care Center at Clare Oaks, Life Care Services LLC; Gina Fenske, The Terraces of Phoenix, American Baptist Homes of the West; Lila Howell, Mason Christian Village, Christian Homes Inc.; Maria Martinez, Lexington of Chicago Ridge, Lexington Health Network; and Tabitha Ramos, Country Club Retirement Campus at Ashtabula, Holland Management Inc.

“Schedulers play such an important role in healthcare, balancing the needs of residents, the organization, budgets, and employees on a day-to-day basis,” stated Gene Groys, OnShift's executive vice president and founder.
