American HealthTech announced it has met the requirements of the Office of National Coordinator for ONC Module Certification. This is the same criteria that eligible hospitals and physician systems must demonstrate to meet Meaningful Use criteria. The ability to exchange health data among providers, security of that data, standard formats for clinical summaries and prescriptions and standard terms to describe clinical problems, procedures and tests are part of the requirements. The process was completed under guidance of the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology.
