Kathleen Carver Cheney

Kathleen Carver Cheney  has joined Novack Burnbaum Crystal LLP as a partner.

Carver Cheney has a clinical background in nursing, and 15 years of healthcare transactional and regulatory experience. She represents healthcare providers, focusing on long-term and post-acute care. She was previously at Duane Morris for 11 years.

Carver Cheney earned her law degree from the New York University School of Law. She also received her masters’ in nursing from New York University and a bachelors’ degree in nursing from Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY.

She is a member New York State Bar Association–Health Law Section, the American Health Lawyers Association, and the National Association of Women Lawyers. Her pro bono work includes working with African-American Policy Forum, the Social Work Hospice/Palliative Care Network, Judy’s Run for Stroke Awareness, Citibar Justice Center Women’s Immigration Project, Citibar Veterans Project and GEMS Sex Trafficking Project
