McKnight's Online Expo to start March 26

Today’s the day: Long-term care professionals, top vendors and subject matter experts are convening for the eighth annual McKnight’s Online Expo. Minimum Data Set changes, technology adoption and wound care practices are the topics on tap in the virtual conference rooms, while the online exhibition hall will feature 15 vendor booths.

Historic registration numbers promise to make this the biggest Online Expo yet, and it’s not too late to sign up. There is no cost to register and gain access to all the event has to offer. This includes five webinars, each worth one continuing education credit.

The two-day event kicks off with a session at 10 a.m. ET on recent and upcoming MDS 3.0 coding rules, led by Alliance Training Center Executive Director Leah Klusch, RN, BSN, FACHCA. This will be followed by a webcast at 11:30 ET on how technology is being adopted in long-term care, presented by the University of Missouri Sinclair School of Nursing’s Gregory Alexander, Ph.D. Day one will wrap up with a session on wound care, led by Jeffrey M. Levine, M.D., CMD, AGSF.

Tomorrow, attendees can learn where operators are finding capital by tuning in to a presentation featuring Beth Burnham Mace, chief economist at the National Investment Center for the Seniors Housing & Care Industry, at 11 a.m. ET. A session on survey and re-survey preparation will cap the event.

A first-of-its-kind event, the Online Expo continues to set the pace by offering premium benefits, unbeatable value and ultimate convenience — all you need is an Internet connection to boost your knowledge and expand your professional network.
