The American Nurses Association on Monday announced the election of Karen Daley as its new president. Daley will hold the post for two years.
Daley is a past president of the Massachusetts Nurses Association and the Massachusetts Association of Registered Nurses. She also has served as a member of ANA’s Board of Directors, and as a director of the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Daley began her nursing career in 1973, according to an ANA press release.
Daley was elected during the ANA House of Delegates biennial meeting, which was held June 16-19 in Washington, D.C.
