New SaaS management system launched

A new platform seeks to link home care providers with senior living partners.

LifeAssist has developed a “white label partnership program” that is meant to connect residents with their care providers.

The company's SaaS care management platform, Circura, and its companion in-home device, Rosie, are new caregiving solutions. Users can access Circura, which was launched this year, via a smart device and help with messaging, reporting, alerts, calendar, notes and activities tracking.

Cicura's features include secure messaging, status logs, vital sign tracking, event invitations and collaboration tools.

“Circura will be a tremendous asset to skilled nursing facilities,” said CEO and co-founder Val Ornoy.

Life Assist's “Reminder Rosie” is a dedicated voice-controlled reminder device geared for those adults with dementia or memory loss, which is connected to information sent to caregivers and families. While the system is available for home care agencies, it also is an option for senior housing operators, the San Francisco-based company noted.

“Our cloud-based solution will allow all skilled providers to communicate and collaborate around the seniors' care — improving quality and decreasing errors from poor communication and reporting,” Ornoy said.

LifeAssist's white label option allows long-term care providers to “launch comprehensive cloud solutions under their own brand, becoming more efficient, improve quality of care, increase client satisfaction and improve communication with their care community,” the company added.

LifeAssist's partners include Aging 2.0, CDW and Dynamic Home Care, a home care nursing agency based on the West Coast.

“We had been looking for three years for a HIPAA-compliant daily care and collaboration solution,” said Ron Pardo of Dynamic Nursing. “Circura's features such as messaging, reporting, alerts, calendar, notes and activities tracking are tremendous assets.”
