McKnight’s Long-Term Care News was recently honored with several sets of national awards.

In the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors competition, the editorial team earned a Gold Award for Best News Coverage for the 10th year in a row. Senior Editor Elizabeth Newman won a Silver Award for her March 2016 profile of former federal health official Alice Bonner.

McKnight’s Editorial Director John O’Connor scooped up a Bronze Award for Best Commentary with a September 2016 column about therapy upcoding. Also, the 2016 McKnight’s technology supplement won Bronze for Best Special Supplement, Annual or Buyer’s Guide. In total, McKnight’s has won 20 ASHPE Gold Awards.

In the Hermes Creative Awards competition, meanwhile, McKnight’s earned Gold for its technology supplement in the annual report category, and Gold for the Daily Editors’ Notes blog.

McKnight’s also won five regional American Society of Business Publication Editors, including Gold for its 2017 Industry Directory and Daily Editors’ Notes. National ASBPE awards were set to be announced in late May.
